Thank you for visiting my website. I offer hypnotherapy, NLP and coaching in the beautiful West of Scotland from my office in East Ayrshire, by Skype or in your own home. Additionally i also hold a weekly Clinic in West Kilbride, North Ayrshire.
Having worked in the NHS for over 40 years ago and despite being successful and rising up through the grades, I was constantly plagued by lack of confidence, low self belief and anxiety. I doubt very much that some who worked with me were aware of this as, like a lot of anxiety sufferers, I hid it well. Throughout that time I also followed my great passion – self development and self improvement, constantly looking for tips to make me feel more confident and less anxious. What makes us tick fascinates me and also why sometimes we can achieve so much and at other times we struggle with things which seem quite simple.
I now strive to help people make the most of their lives by managing their anxiety, finding coping mechanisms for workplace stress, stop smoking, deal with the emotional effects of cancer treatment improve their self esteem and confidence, finally stop dieting and lose the weight, etc. If you want to find out more information please get in touch. Anxiety and Panic Attacks
It is a great passion of mine to help people manage anxiety and panic attacks, helping you live the life you want to live and getting back in control. In addition I am an approved Anxiety UK Therapist. I also see clients who are suffering from agoraphobia, in their own homes across Ayrshire, to help them gain control and start enjoying life.
I have trained with Cathy Simmons, top London Hypnotherapist, in helping people stop smoking. I use The Simmons Method™, a science based approached which has successfully helped thousands of people become free from smoking all over the UK . Normally one smoking cessation is all that is needed to get rid of smoking for ever.
At last the message is getting out there that DIETS DON’T WORK. They just don’t! The only way to lose weight and keep it off is to look at WHY you overeat and makes permanent changes to your lifestyle. These changes include changes to what you eat, how much you move and crucially your mindset as without the mental focus change won’t be permanent. Hypnosis can make these changes much easier if you are committed to making those changes.
Finding out you have cancer is devastating. It impacts on every area of your life and coping with the emotional effects of this massive change in your life, as well as the side effects of treatment, can be overwhelming. Cancer affects everyone’s life differently but having personal experience, I believe hypnotherapy can help you get through the other side of treatment and live a positive life after cancer
Too much stress can affect every area of your life. A worrying trend in the UK is the number of people experiencing the negative effects of stress at work. Employers are under greater pressure to get things done quicker, with less resources and the knock on effect of that is that the employee gets more stress. Add home, family and money problems to the mix and life can become unbearable. This can have a negative effect on health, relationships, and sleep patterns etc. I offer one to one or group sessions on how to manage stress. Making small, consistent changes can put you back in control.
